Hartford was designated a “Hospitaller City “ in 2004. There are 22 Knights and Dames in the Hartford area. Dr. Pauline Olsen is the Regional Hospitaller. The primary project of the Hartford group is the development, sponsorship, and assistance to the Malta House of Care Mobile Clinic.

Since 2006, the mobile clinic has provided free primary health care to over 12,000 of Hartford’s poor. This includes pharmaceutical and diagnostic testing needs of the patients.

The Hartford group is now affiliated to the American Association of CT , which allows all its members, while remaining part of the Federal Association to participate in their activities.
