Malta House of Care Foundation

Malta Van outside Malta House of Care Clinic
In 2004, a visionary group of Hartford-area Knights and Dames of the Order of Malta inspired by the Order’s mission to serve the sick and poor, came together to address the stark disparities in healthcare access and quality throughout Greater Hartford. Their resolve laid the foundation for Malta House of Care. For over two decades, Malta House of Care has stood as a beacon of hope and healing in Greater Hartford, transforming lives through free, compassionate healthcare while championing equity for our diverse community.
Malta Food Pantry

The mission of the Malta Food Pantry is to serve the people most in need of food particularly in the neighborhoods of the north end of Hartford and other areas. The pantry is open every Saturday morning. Given the great need for food assistance in the region, the pantry consistently serves food to over 200 clients weekly.
Malta Diaper Program
An extension of the Malta Food Pantry, the Diaper Program promotes the dignity of God given life by providing a nurturing home environment, support services, and independent living skills to expectant mothers of all faiths, and to their babies.
