The spiritual retreat of the Order of Malta’s professed knights was held in Sacrofano just outside Rome from 4th to 9th November. Thirty-four religious of different nationalities attended.

A month after the deadly earthquake and tsunami that hit Indonesia, the worldwide relief agency of the Order of Malta, Malteser International, is supporting its Indonesian partner, YAKKUM with the repair and rehabilitation of damaged health centers on the island of Sulawesi.
On Friday to Sunday last, the Order of Malta’s three Italian Grand Priories made their annual pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Loreto in the Marches region. Over 1400 Order of Malta members and volunteers from all over Italy accompanied and assisted some 300 pilgrims, some seriously ill.
