The Third Annual Hospitaller Dinner was held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, OH. The keynote speaker was Dr. Peter Kreeft, one of the world's leading Catholic, Christian apologists. He is a Professor of Philosophy at Boston College and has written more than 80 books, the most recent being, How to Destroy Western Civilization. On Friday, August 27, 2021, The Columbus Region of the Order of Malta was granted a special honor to participate in the Diocese of Columbus' Real Presence Real Future Mass and Eucharistic Procession. The Knights, Dames, Candidates and Friends of the Order of Malta in the Columbus Region gathered for their annual Mass for the Deceased Members of the Order on Friday November 20,2020. There are 14 members of the Federal Association in the Columbus area. Robert Morosky was named the first Regional Hospitaller in 1999, succeeded by the late Dr. Frank Dono in 2003. The Most Reverend James Griffin, Bishop of Columbus (now retired) was invested as a Conventual Chaplain in 2000.
